Privacy Policy

How your personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you contact me.

Who is responsible for your information

Vishal Hirani is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. If you have a privacy question or want to exercise your data-protection rights, email [email protected].

Information I collect

When you use the contact form, I collect the information you choose to provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your enquiry subject and message
  • The date and time the enquiry was submitted

How and why I use it

I use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your requirements, prepare a quote, and manage potential or active project work. The lawful bases are my legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

How your information is stored

Contact-form enquiries are stored in Google Firebase. Access to enquiry records is restricted to authenticated administration access. Google may process information on infrastructure outside the United Kingdom using its applicable data-transfer safeguards.

How long I keep it

General enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months so I can follow up and maintain a record of the discussion. If you become a client, relevant information may be retained for longer where needed to deliver the project, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted.

Sharing your information

I do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with service providers needed to operate this website and manage enquiries, such as Google Firebase, or when disclosure is required by law.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It may use essential browser storage to remember preferences such as the selected theme or language and to prevent repeated form submissions during the same browser session.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion or restriction, or object to certain processing. Email me to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Security and policy updates

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect enquiry information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may be updated when the website, services, or legal requirements change.
